Private beta — join the shortlist

Light on every server.

OpsLantern is the centralized control plane for MSPs and sysadmins managing hundreds of servers across Windows, Linux, virtualization, cloud, and mail. Watch. Diagnose. Act — without leaving the tab.

Private beta — built by sysadmins for sysadmins. No fake logos, no fabricated metrics.

The problem

Managing modern infrastructure is a tab-switching job.

Most platforms add another dashboard. OpsLantern removes a dozen.

Too many tabs. Too many tools.

vCenter here, WHM there, Azure portal elsewhere, RDP to five servers, four terminals open. Context-switching eats the day.

Every incident is SSH roulette.

Find the right host, the right credential, the right log path, the right command — before the SLA clock runs out.

Tribal knowledge in two people.

When the senior engineer is on vacation, everyone waits. Runbooks live in private Notion pages, Slack DMs, or nowhere at all.

How it works

From signal to resolution in three steps.

One engineer supervises hundreds of servers because OpsLantern pre-digests every alert.

  1. 1. Connect

Install one lightweight agent per host, or connect via API for vCenter, Proxmox, cloud, and appliances. JIT credentials, outbound-only — NAT-friendly.

  2. 2. See

Fleet-scale dashboards show only what is different from baseline. 500 servers collapse to a handful of actionable groups. Zero noise by default.

  3. 3. Act

One-click actions with dry-run, approval, rollback, and full audit. Or let OpsLantern act on its own — with blast-radius limits you control.

The fleet view, condensed.

Exception-only dashboards. 500 servers collapse to the handful of groups that actually need a human.

What we refuse to build

No workstation bloat.

We are server-first, specialist by design. The only workstation scope we accept lives inside Microsoft 365 / Intune — because it is a cloud control plane, not an endpoint agent.

Not a SIEM.

We use logs to fix problems, not to store them forever. If you need compliance-grade retention and correlation, keep your SIEM. OpsLantern complements it.

We integrate, not rebuild.

Your ticketing, monitoring, chat and PSA stay where they are. OpsLantern plugs into them. We respect your existing stack.

FAQ

Questions we get asked.

When can I try OpsLantern?

OpsLantern is currently in private beta. We are onboarding the first wave of MSPs and in-house ops teams. Write to hello@opslantern.com to join the shortlist.

Which stacks do you support at launch?

Windows Server, Linux, VMware, Proxmox, Hyper-V, MSSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, cPanel, Plesk, MailEnable, ModusGate, FortiMail, Exchange, Postfix, plus Azure, Azure Stack Hub, Microsoft 365 (including Intune), and Huawei Cloud.

Is there an on-prem option?

Yes. OpsLantern is designed to deploy on-prem for sovereignty-sensitive customers, with an optional managed cloud tier for MSPs who prefer SaaS.

How does it compare to NinjaOne, Atera, or N-able?

Those products excel at RMM + ticketing for workstations. OpsLantern is a deep server/stack control plane with specialist catalogs for virtualization, databases, mail, and hosting panels — the work your seniors actually do. We integrate with your existing PSA, we do not replace it.

Do I have to install agents on every server?

No. Agent where it makes sense (Windows, Linux), agentless for appliances and hypervisors (vCenter, Proxmox, FortiMail, storage arrays) via native APIs. Cloud services are API-only.

Will you add workstation management?

Not as endpoint RMM. We are server-first. The only exception is Microsoft 365 and Intune — because those are cloud control planes, not endpoint agents we install.

What is the pricing model?

Per managed host tiered by tenant count and feature plane. Final pricing will be published before general availability. Until then, talk to us — early customers get founding pricing.

How do I report a security issue?

Email security@opslantern.com, or visit our /security page for the responsible-disclosure policy.
